Rodh's Story
Hello everyone,
I attended several high schools in the Atlanta area. O'Keef High, which was located in the heart of Ga. Tech's campus off 6th street was the first. I also attended North Fulton, which was located in Buckhead on North Fulton Dr..
I was not a very good student in high school because of my personal life at home (parents divorced). Even so, I wasn't a trouble maker either. Nonetheless, in my last year at North Fulton high school I was voted the most improved student in school with a GPA of 4.0. I received an award and treated to a dinner in downtown Atlanta from the Kiwanis Club for my achievement.
I dated Patrice Pass, who was a student at North Fulton (class of 77 or 78). In fact, if it wasn't for Patrice and her family, who took me in, gave me a safe place to live as I tried to figure out my course of action, I might not be here today. Even today, Patrice and her siblings are closer to me than my own. I love them very much because they saved me. Kept me off the streets of Atlanta, and from possibly becoming a statistic.
I left high school early and enlisted in the Armed Services for 10 years where I managed to enroll in college. I lived abroad in Germany for 3 years, and then South Korea while serving in the Army, while also completing requirements for college.

he country I met my wife of 34 years in central California while still attending college (Hartnell, Salinas, Ca.). In 1985 my daughter and only child was born in Monterey, California; she's the love of my life, and that of my wife's.
Career wise, upon leaving the Army to re-enter civilian life, I gained employment as a financial adviser (stockbroker) with a New York stock exchange member firm, where I eventually rose to become vice president of the entertainment division. In 1994, shortly before Thanks Giving, I retired from JLR and would later become an entrepreneur in the early Internet days, whereas, I founded the first business related site online. In 2004, I sold that business to a group of private investors in Florida, and would later move to Florida. I did nothing but play golf everyday for 7-years until I came up with another idea.
Currently, I am CEO-founder of Dijiv Social Media, which is a one year old online community with a very unique business model.
In addition to re-entering the business world, I am also working on obtaining my graduate degree (Ph.D) in psychology, which means that my daily work load is tilted to the max.
My philosophy on life is that it's never too late to learn something new or start-over. You become that which occupies your imagination most. Imagine greater!
