Rodney's Story
Life
Currently married (2nd time)with 2 kids. THE ADVENTURE BEGINS IN
1974- Graduated Lutheran HS
Enrolled at USC
delivered pizza's, sold paint at Sears to make a buck.
1977- Newswriter KIIS-FM Hollywood (3 years)
1978- Graduated USC (Broadcast Journalism)
1979- Played keyboard in a funk bank (4 years)
1980- Married 1st time (lasted 14 months)
They call that a "starter marriage"
Worked as sub teacher with handicapped kids and juvenile offenders.
1983- Recording Engineer at a small recording studio.
1984- Met amazing woman, married her, had two kids, enjoyed the ups and downs of a family man. OK, all that didn't happen in one year, but time moved so quickly, IT WAS A BLUR!
1985- Graduated Communications Bridge Institute (CBI). Interned at KCOP-TV Ho...Expand for more

1986- Hired as technical assistant at CBI. Son born.
1987- Became Head of Instruction at CBI. Daughter born.
1988- Hired by City of Los Angeles to create the largest government cable channel in the United States.
Worked as director, editor, cameraman (you-name-it-I-did-it person in television production) for City of LA and many freelance clients.
1997- Won first Emmy Award for editing "LA Fire!", a slick magazine show highlighting the LA Fire Department.
1999 to now- Hired as Television Producer, Director, Editor at the Educational Telecommunications Network at LA County's Office of Education.
2000- Won 2nd Emmy for editing "Power of One", a glitzy show about teens and voting.
"Life's been good. When it wasn't good, it's been real interesting!"
