Rodney's Story
56 retired. Married 22 yrs to Mary.
Have daughter, 2 stepsons and 2 grandchildren. Had heart transplant 2007 on Good Friday and woke up on Easter Sunday. Also a kidney reansplant in Sept 2010 with rejection. But yhe kidney was saved. Lived in Texas in the 80's and returned to MD in the 87.Still go to Texas for 3-4 wks a yr. Graduated 77 from Unv Towson. . Had a genetic heart decease that wiped out my heart.Retired in Apr 2006.. Have pilots licence. Not current on medical but can fly light sport aircraft. Am a reformed liberal. More moderate even though registered Republican but am more of a Libertarian. Despise the idea of unversal healthcare. How can we let the goverment do healthcare...Expand for more
if they can't even run a car rebate program let alone anything else ? Believe in the U.S. Constitution even though I may not agree on everything. Am a Christian and Lay Speaker in the Methodist Church. Believe in Civil Unions to protect peoples civil rights for anyone married in a courthouse or Justice of the Peace. Let a particular religion decide if they want to call it a marriage. Also for stem cell research. The least will become great. Try to be fair on issues and listen to peoples opinions. Travel when I can. Look forward to getting a kidney so I can travel oversees. Difficult with dialysis. Do some writing and am working on a script. All I can say is that I am truely Blessed.
