Rodney Lowell:  

Retired In 2000, after more than 25 years in the Army as a Senior Intelligence Operations Specialist. When I retired from the Army, I tried the corporate world for a few years in senior management, but found it somewhat boring and slow paced. During my military career I traveled extensively throughout South and Central America and Asia. I also made a few trips to Europe. In September of 2005, I went back to work for the Federal Government. Since then I've spent a total of 62 months split between Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan with a few months in Romania, Turkey and Krzykstan. I am currently preparing for a nine month trip to Iraq. I can retire a second time in Sept 2014 but will probably work a couple more years, just to stay young. I've been married to the same woman for 38 years. (Yes, I found someone that would put up with me for that long.) We have two grown children. Our son Rod Jr.owns a construction company and our daughter Jenni is with the sheriff's department in our county. Jenni gave us our grandson Ethan (my best buddy) who is 10.
