Roger's Story
After high school I joined the Air Force. After coming home and working for ten years in the copier business, I decided to pursue a dream. It took me to Alabama in 1984 where I went to work for Techsonic Industries, Inc. makers of the Humminbird Depth Finders and Mann's Bait Co. From there I moved to Ogden, Ut. to take a position with the Browning Arms Co. in there fishing division. Two yeas later Browning sold the fishing div. to Zebco and I was off again in search of a new job. I landed in Texas with a small company which made products to treat the water that you keep your bait or catch in. That lasted one year...Expand for more
before they sold the business but not before cutting the fat...I was never accused of being fat until then.
While contemplating my next move, a life changing event caused me to think about what tomorrow might bring. I decided at that time to ride the bull for 8 seconds, go sky diving or Rocky Mountain Climbing. You know how the song goes. Well any way, I decided to give guiding a try. That's a fishing guide for bass in sunny Florida.
Now I've taken the experience, gained from years of guiding, and built a web site to teach and help those who wish to go it alone and try Florida bass fishing without the guide.
