Roger's Story
It seems all I wanted to do in life was to be older and wiser,a better person, have a decent job and income, marry somebody and have kids. Well I did most of those things many times over. I join the Marines after high school so I could stop that war. Plus grow up,literally, If you see me in the yearbook I was short, terrible looking and had no self confidence. I weighed 130 pounds at 5ft.3in. The marines changed all that, to 5ft.8...Expand for more
in, and 185lbs. The only trouble with all that was the Viet Nam experience. I have no idea if any of my classmates served except for Randy Senkel. He joined the USMC with me. I have been married now to my 4th wife for 33 years. I got laid off in may so I hope I am the only one of our class to have that happen to them. I live in Brenham on a small farm we bought and raise a few cows. Would love to hear from all of you. Roger Conner
