Roger's Story

I attended Albany State, graduating in 1972 with a Bachelor's in History and teaching certification. While in college I was a winner (#3) in the first ever draft lottery, so I spent two years in the Army in Germany. I then received a Master's degree in Counseling from UB and was a school counselor for 1 year ...Expand for more

Having meanwhile completing a certificate in School Administration, I was a school business official for the next 31 years, working in Wayland, Brunswick, Newburgh, Albany and Plattsburgh NY and for the last ten years outside Burlington, V.ermont. I'm retired as of July 1, 2017, My wife Judy and I have been married 40 years and have three children and four grandchildren.

We happened to run into the Kindergarten teachers of both Declan (now finishing 2nd grade) and Teagan (5th grade) while out for dinner. Amazingly, without any prompting, both teachers spoke positively of our grandchildren!
