Roger's Story
Politely but firmly told to (prematurely) terminate my educational journey at John Marshall due to a conflict between my personal agenda and the school's ( this couldn't have been my fault).
Join the United States Marine Corps Jan. 1964
USMC Artillery Scout Forward Observer. Volunteer two tours of duty Republic of Vietnam 1965 - 1966, 1967-1968
Pit viper snake bite (first tour). Medevac-- Charley Med, Philippines, Guam, Japan, Okinawa. Survive. Return Vietnam
Attain rank of sergeant (E-5) after first tour
Inactive Reserve 1968 - 1970.
Honorably discharged 1970

, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Europe, with Bobby Quinn and Joe Marinez, two other John Marshall students whose educational journeys were also prematurely terminated by the school (this couldn't have been their fault either)
Eventually return home. Marry (one daughter), divorce, remarry (two daughters).
Become a private pilot.
Establish a career in the IT industry as a data base consultant (self employed).
Begin to read the Bible and to believe in its veracity. Continue with this for the remainder of my life.
Become a grandpa to a beautiful fantastic granddaughter Hannah
