Roger's Story
Lets see.......how to put almost 50 years into a paragraph? Nope, can not be done, soooooo, here we go anyway:
I went in the service shortly after the Higgins experience. Got married to Angela Brasslet(class of 63) while on leave. . Believe it or not, Mr. Wortman offered us his new cabin on Moosehead Lake for our honeymoon. It was a gesture that was accepted, and so appreciated, as time and money were very short. I had figured the man wrong for all those years. What a waste of time and I still regret it.....my stupid youth!!
To date I have fourteen grandchildren, two of the youngest are in the photo with me.
I now live alone here in Greene,ME but currently looking for a kitty who needs someone to take care of. Dunkin is my source for morning life blood but need to watch out for the bagels....they have done a good...Expand for more
job at hiding my waist!!
Started a company in 1983 and sold it in 2004. Great experience, but, not sure I would do it again.
Got on this "Classmates" bus after running into Ray Bickmore recently. It was great to see him, as we used to play baseball and basketball as kids, and it started me wondering what other people were up to over the years gone by.
My shyness kept me from communicating with a lot of you back then, and I feel bad about that. I know I missed out on some great times. My loss. Still shy, but have finally realized we only go through here once and we darned well better make the most of it!! There, that admission should qualify as a breakthtrough and allow my therapist to put a check mark in the "There's still hope" column.
I hope all your days are happy and your wishes come true..............Roger
