My wife.Cathi passed in March. Between us we have 5 My family moved to Hoffman Town in in 1952 and started second grade at Maryland elementry school. Freshman yeat at Washington hign no one stuck my head in a trash can. I found my first dance a bit of a disapointment. The girls were in a bunch and the boys in another, few were dancing. All that time in 8th grade learning how to dance. I walked out and hung out in the parking lot. Cars and street racing was more fun. Played freshman footballl but spent all my time on the bench. I weight less than 100 pounds. Played track and was ok at the 220 but throwing up after was not my thing. Wresling at a softmore was more fun but agrivated a hernia. Rocing outboard hydroplanes, gokarts, and cars was a lot more fun. School was ok but not all that damanding especially if b-c was good enough. Phoenix college 1962. My senior student counceler implied that he did not expect I would do well in Engineering. I excelled in math and science testingbut my grades did not reflect it. I took it as a challange and got serious. I did well in Trig. calculus and physics. Coffee shop got in the way a bit. Christmas break I fell asleep at the wheel hit a telephone and stayed asleep for a few days. Calculus was a little more difficult after that so I toke time off with a buddy and traveled across the US. Got a job in an auto center in Miami. Did well but realized if I wanted to make good money I needed to get back to Phoenix College. 1965 I went to the University of Arizona as a Junior in Mechanical Engineering. Carried 18 units and spent most of my time studying. Dated on Friday and Saturday nights. Learn...Expand for more

I raced West coast races for OMC 1970 through 1972. I went to work for Yamaha snow mobile racing for two years as a engineer. what a blast but got married and being on the road for 9 months did not work. Worked for Yamaha snowmobile new business group until 1986 when I opened Research and Developement/ New Business Division. During those years I broughtr on line GoKarts, Golf Cars, Generators, Water Vechicles, Jet Boats, Robotics and a bunch of other things that did not make it. I left Yamaha in 2000.
