Roger's Story

Life After graduating from college (see college section), I taught Social Studies for 3 years at Riverview. Decided the vow of poverty was not for me - to get myself out of debt - went to San Diego, got married and earned a Masters in International Relations. Moved back to St. Louis, bought a house in Brentwood, I got lucky and was asked to joining Accenture -the number one global business consulting firm. Worked for 3 years as a consultant for them. Clients included BP Amoco, Caterpillar, The State Department, Defense Logistical Agency... chucked the 6 figure job to try to save a failing marrage - Bought a house on the north shore of Maui and moved. Marrage failed anyway - I spent way too much time out of town as a consultant. I am still living in Maui on a half acre overlooking the ocean. I obtained a real estate license and now spend my time between work, surfing, diving and playing the bagpipes. I am the Pipe Major for Maui Celtic Pipes and Drums. Crazy huh? Oh yeah , I have a cool girlfrend originally from Boston who now lives with me. If you were in my graduating class, unless you were a total dick head, (I can only think of one) yo...Expand for more
u are welcome to come visit, there is always room and plenty of fresh fruit in season... None from high school days have come out, but everyone else including my old mailman has. Really, the Aloha is always there. I am curious what happened to some of our classmates. I still know the Jones, Jeff lives down the street from my mom in Brentwood. and I ran into Michelle Pittman through a mutual friend - but what of the rest??? I hope all are well. I know Mark Marconi died years ago, but by now there should be a whole new generation from the girls in our class... Military I spent ten years in the Navy , mostly reserves, with three awesome years assigned to SEAL Team 3 in San Diego. I was a SEAL TECH. I never in my life thought I would be throwing myself out of perfectly good 7 story buildings, waking up to 12 mile warm-up runs, swimming miles out in the deep blue relying on just your own effort and the support of the guy next to you, and I am damn lucky I had a chance to associate with such a great bunch of guys, some of which I still keep in contact with. I left the naval reserves when I moved to Maui - no unit available here, only in Oahu.
