Roger Semple:  

I am that guy that worked at Charlies market while in High School, so I missed a lot of good things that a teenager can do. I went in the Navy right out of School and became an electronics technician. When I got out I went to DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago. Upon graduation I came to California to work at Lockheed in Palo Alto. We had 2 girls,Kelly and Sheila and had it made. It was then that we didn't have common interests and got a divorce after 11 years of marriage. I re married to Shirley and it is the best choice I could ever have made. We have bee married 41 happy years and each year gets better. She is my Texas Sweetheart and gets sweeter each year. I worked at Philco Ford for 28 years and retired at 56 years old. We move to Roseville to be closer to the kids and have been enjoying being grand parents. We have one grand daughter that graduated from Texas A&M with her Masters and one Grandson working in Montana and 1 going to UC Davis to become a Doctor.! is still in High School and the other is going to college in Sacramento. I was named volunteer of the year for the City of Roseville and served as a senior commissioner for 10 years. I taught computers to seniors for 10 years and really enjoyed it. My pleasure is doing genealogy on the computer. I have traced my surname Semple back to 1208 in Scotland. Never did find a prince though.. We are active in our church and are members of a walking group called the Maidu Walkers. It is a walking and social group and is a lot of fun. We are looking forward to another20 to 30 years or what ever the Lord has planned for us. Who knows. I always wanted to be a Christian when I grew up.
