Life I moved from Hickman Co in August 1991 to continue my education at the University of TN - Martin. There I met a fellow rodeo competitor on the UTM Rodeo Team...a boy from Ozark, MO. We fell in love and in July 1993, moved back to his hometown and were married. I finished my education at (Southwest) Missouri State University, where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, in 1994. Upon graduation, I pursued a career in business sales and training, and then went into a marketing directorship for a local residential care facility. Regrettably, the marriage didn't last, but we remained friends and I stayed in MO. In 1997, I remarried. I went back to school, and in 1998, I obtained my Missouri Teaching Certification in Business Education and assumed a grant coordinator position within a local school district. We moved to Jasper, MO, in July of 2000, where my husband became Superintentdent of Schools and I worked for a local community college.
