Rojon's Story

I worked for Safeway Stores in high school and met my husband Jay at work - we married in 1980. I remained working for Safeway for the next 38 years and was transferred a few times from Alaska to California to Arizona and back to California. I live in Scottsdale in the winters and Sedona in the summers. We have two grown children (my step children) and 5 grandkids aged 6 to 22. In our spare time, we cycle and hike and travel quite a bit. I left Alaska in 1986 for a promotion in California but we have been back a few times to visit old friends and just enjoy Alaska. Loved my time in Alaska!
