Roland's Story
After grad I went to work at the SF Chronical in the production dept. I started there in 1976, moved to Burlingame and met my future wife, Donna. We started dating and she also got a job at the Chron. We got married in 1983, didnt want to rush into anything. We had our first child in 1984, Rocky the IV, and moved to Pacifica. We had our second child in 1986, Holly. We lived in Pacifica until 1993 then moved to Antioch. I will always regret moving away from the beach but such is life. We moved to Fremont in 1995 and then moved to Manteca in 1998 which where we are now. I quit the Chron after 25 years and go...Expand for more
t a job driving trucks for Safeway. I really like driving and its close to the house. My kids both joined the Army, my son is a bridge builder for the 555 engineers out of Ft Leonard Wood MO, my girl is Human Resource for the 4th Infantry presently stationed in Baghdad. We got into boating and spend alot of time on the water with a bunch of jet boaters from around the area. I am 15 min from the river so we boat 2 or 3 times a week when the weather is hot. I work on the Performance Plus Top Fuel Hydro pit crew out of Manteca. My family likes to spend as much time as possible at our cabin at Lake Tahoe. Rocky
