Rolanda's Story
Hello Charger Alums! Since '88 when I graduated, I went off to NSU and enjoyed myself thoroughly! I managed to graduate with a B.S. degree in Communications. After a couple of years of trying to find my niche in the world, I tried marriage on for size. I was married in '99. The next year things took a turn for the worst. I was diagnosed with Leukemia and spent 10 months fighting...Expand for more
for my life. I won (of course) and decided to change careers. I returned to school and became a teacher. I now teach Special Education to fifth graders. In the meantime, life decided it wasn't through with me and I lost my husband in 2004. So now I am a widow, without children and I have since moved to Philadelphia, PA. I look forward to seeing some of you in the coming year.
