Life
I graduated from Mercedes High School in 1980. I graduated a year ahead of my class,(Class of 1981), because I wanted to join the United States Marine Corps; I served 6 years. In the Marine Coprs my Homebase was in Kaneohe Bay Hawaii and our area of operations was the Far-East. I also served the 4 years in the Army. In the Army I was stationed in Europe and Hawaii. After my military service I received my Bachelor degree and was a 5th grade teacher for 5 years in San Juan, TX. In May 1998 I received my Master of Education degree from Pam-American University. I have been married to my beautiful wife Carmen,(Carmen Estrada), for 20 years. We have two beautiful kids Adan Jose (AJ) 10 years old and Alexandria Josefine (Mama) 7 years old. We live in Relampago, TX just 5 miles south of Mercedes, TX( I came back to where I grew up). Send me an e-mail any time. I would like to hear what you guys are up to.
I always wanted to be a Marine when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
