I graduated from Benson High School and moved up to Des Moines Iowa. I was insearch of my maternal family and found them. I began working at the IRS as a clerk typist and going to school at Des Moines Area Community College working on a Liberal Arts Degree, also achieved my Nursing Assistance Certification. I worked at Medical Personel Pool, working in all of the area hospitals as a Nursing Assistant and going into homes doing Home Care and Hospice for Cancer and various sick patients. I continued to go to school and work. I loved the Medical field so I changed and started going to Mercy College of Health Sciences studying to be a Paramedic along with Pre-Hospital Advanced Care and Crisis Intervention. I achieved my Paramedic's License and began working for Lifeline Ambulance Service, working the streets of Des Moines and doing out of state Transport with Advanced Life Support. I continued to go to school, and work. After quite a few years I decided to switch my degree to a Bachelor of Science degree and I decided to get my Health Unit Coordinators License. I achieved that License and I got on at Blank Childrens Hospital overseeing Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Childrens Cancer, Burn Unit, and Medical Pediatrics.
