Ron's Story

Life No longer married, I enjoy most outdoor activities, ocean and lake fishing, camping, going to the beach and mountains, volleyball, acting, theater, movies, and travel. My 70 pound german shepherd got hip dysplagia so bad she had to be put to sleep. That was 4 years ago Wife's father passed away from advanced cancer complicated with a heart condition at about the same time. Wife had a meltdown, left our marriage and moved to New York, then divorced me. When she ran out of money after a year with no work in New York and two multi-week vacations in Europe, she moved back to California, lost one of our two homes to the bank, and the other was behind in payments. Haven't heard from her in almost a year and a half. I now live in Diamond Bar, CA, while most of my family still lives in Orange County. Dad died of cancer in 19...Expand for more
88. Guess it was a good thing to not have kids with her, but I was still hoping for a family. We'll see.... College Began work fresh out of high school at an ambulance company, did that and worked in hospitals (labs) for a while, really enjoyed emergency services so pursued that. Became a paramedic for a private company in San Bernardino, got into operations management, training and consulting for governmental agencies. Returned to school to get a formal education in 1994, finished a BA with a business minor from CSU Fullerton in 1999, then finished a master's in emergency services in 2006. Now I consult privately in disaster management and business continuity for public entities and private business while doing other work on the side. Military Was never in the military, except as a dependent for my first 14 years of life.
