Ron's Story
1966, what a great year to be a senior at Hogan. Thanks to all my friends for the great memories; friday nights hanging out at Patches, Eat&Run, Quick Shake, dancing at Hogan & Vallejo High, Rangers Hall & Vets Hall. What great music in the City, the Fillmore Auditorium was the best. Baseball & football, surfing Santa Cruz, abalone diving, dances at Russian River & Clear Lake. After 2 years at J.C. & 2 years at Sacramento State, It was time to move on. Since 1966 I still need to find the next challenge, try the next profession & enjoy music & Sonoma County wines on the weekends. rape Grower I'm still trying new things. I'm currently growing Pinot Noir grapes at Tina Marie Vineyards and Rocking B Ranch & my friends & I are starting a vegetable co-op business. I was blessed w/three great sons and a granddaughtor Kaitlin & a wonderful wife of 31 years, Susan. It would have been nice to have stayed in Vallejo & seen more of my old friends, but I have lived in San Francisco, Mendocino County, Santa Rosa, Sebastopol and currently Jacksonville, OR, west of Ashland. I spend most of the summer in Sonoma County farming & I'm in Oregon the rest of the time. Hope everything is fine w/all of the graduates from Hogan High & party on. Love, Ron, M.D.
