Ron's Story

Well, three days after I graduated I moved back to Michigan. I had jumped around from job to job. In 1996 I joined a volunteer fire department. In, 2000 i began an electrical apprentice program and became a journeyman electrician. In, 2005 I applied for a job as a full time Fire Inspector and got the job. I am currently a Captain on my fire department ...Expand for more
and work a 40 hour week as a Fire Inspector. I have trained to be a Fire Investigator, Fire Service Instructor, Hazmat Tech., and Plans Examiner. During this time, I have been going to college and i am close to having two seperate associate degrees. One in Fire Science and the othe in Business administration. I have two great kids and a beautiful wife.
