Ron's Story
You can never be sure how life will work out! I married Shelley Wells in 1974 and lived in Brandon & Winnipeg for few years. In 1980, we moved to Thompson with the intention of staying three years at most, but 40 years later I am still there (living on a lake about 35 km. south of Thompson). st 24 years before selling in 2012 and retiring. I have one married daughter,who is a teacher in Thompson, a son-in-law and two grandsons. I was widowed in Jan. of 2016, and now am spending winters in my motorhome in the warm sunny parts of the southern USA. Update- As of September 2022, I'm now living a few miles outside of New Glasgow, NS!
