Ron's Story

RPI Grad '67 USMC '68-'72 ( Captain Ron.. LOL !!! ) LIFER in the Industrial Gas Business... spent 40 years at Air Products... half the time in the field supervising construction... I'm still working as a project manager... I know ,. I'm nuts... some day maybe if I don't drop first... getting old is not for wimps, as you all must know by now... although I'm not ready to 'go gently into that cold cold night'. Married with 4 healthy children and several critters along the way...... ah the innocence of youth... as you too grow up with your family and are forever reminded of it.... love children,.. played volunteer Santa for local schools many a ...Expand for more
time. .... My interests and experience have varied greatly ...At mid life, I finally got back to my first love... theater and singing... and have been fortunate enough to play many lead roles in musicals and drama for local groups... don't know why I played all that football and the like when I could have really gotten into it with Fred Blais.... LOL... roads not taken, hindsight is 20/20, etc. USMC-Engineering-Theater- and an adolescent urchin from Brooklyn may seem a bit incongruous but they do share a common thread. I'll end with I may not have known all the my HS class members but I never met any I didn't like. ... Regards, Ron
