Ron's Story

Life I joined the Navy soon after graduating from Marion Harding high school in 1985. I served six years as an Electronics Warfare (EW) technician and was stationed in Charleston SC, Pensacola FL and Norfolk VA. I have been in the Norfolk/ Virginia Beach area since 1989 and currently live in Chesapeake Va. I met my wife, Melissa (Harvey), as I was getting out of the Navy, she was going Regent Universit...Expand for more
y to get her Masters degree in counseling. We have been married since 1994 and have one son, louka born in 2004. I work at Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a Test Director, code 246, (a federal government job) testing newly installed or repaired shipboard systems on aircraft carriers.
