Life Life has been interesting. I served as a "point" with a Marine rifle company in Vietnam in 1965-66 and was wounded in action twice. After receiving an honorable discharge I worked in Logistics on the Apollo space program at Rockwell International in Downey, where the spacecraft landing and command modules were built. It was great fun attending the "splashdown" parties and meeting the astronauts, and listening to radio communications between the spacecrafts and Houston operations. After the Apollo project wound down I worked in national and international sales and marketing of industrial chemicals for 36 years. My non-fiction book "Redwood Delta," a memoir of my tour of duty with the Marines in Vietnam, was published by Berkley Books of New York City. The book was mass-marketed across the United States and was a best seller from 1988-93.
