Ron's Story
After High School I attended Ventura College and then transferred to Fresno State where I studied Business Administration. After college I did cost accounting for a couple of years and some other jobs and then eventually ended up making a career out of Construction Equipment sales. I am happy to say that I retired at the beginning of 2013. I live with my wife April in Strafford, Missouri which is in the Ozarks region of the country. I have two grown stepsons who reside in southern California. I ended up in the Ozarks due to a job opportunity and was very happy when the company that I worked for allowed me to move less than 30 miles from my parents who live in Springfield, Missouri. I love the outdoors and I like to take advantage of the fishing, hunting, and camping opportunities that the Ozarks have to offer. nd as many Springfield Cardinals (AA) and St. Louis Cardinals games (even though I am still a die hard Dodger fan) as I can. My wife and I love to travel and we also go "antiquing" as often as we can. We also enjoy the performing arts as well. We are planning on taking road trip this fall to the Northeast part of the country to see the fall foliage and to visit a good friend in Maine. Then we will be flying into southern California for Christmas to visit family and friends. We live out in the country on 4 acres and have a Maltese dog named Snowy. We attend church regularly and have a lot of fun with church activities . Since moving to the Ozarks 8 1/2 years ago we have had visits from Greg West and Denise Paul-Elliott who both graduated with me with the Oxnard High School class of 1979. Life is great here and I really can't complain about much of anything except not being able to ride my Harley during winter time due to the cold. Peace and God Bless, Ron
