Ron's Story
I currently live in Honolulu, HI and work for the Honolulu Advertiser newspaper. I spent 18 1/2 years at the Orange County Register before moving to Hawaii in January of 2004. I received my BA degree in broadcast journalism from Cal-State Fullerton, graduating summa cum laude.
I received about a dozen job offers to be an anchor or reporter for various network affilate TV stations across the US but decided to stay with the newspaper...for now. For those who remember me with a mike in my hand, I haven't changed.

have a 24 year-old son and 4 stepchildren ranging from ages 12 to 20. My wife Cindy, pictured with me in my profile, is a reporter for KHNL-TV in Honolulu, which is the NBC affiliate here.
I currently attend Hawaii Pacific University trying to obtain my MA degree in Communications. I hope to teach comm. at a college in the near future (Hopefully I won't be too old to change careers.)
All in all life is good. It's amazing it's been 25 years since high school. I remember it like it was yesterday. Good times for sure.
