Ron's Story
Life
I've just (as of July 2005) moved to Tallahassee, FL to become the pastor of John Wesley United Methodist Church.
For some reason the site won't let me create a military boigraphy that tells you I've never been in the military. I went for the physical during college (which was also during the Vietnam thing) but failed it because of my poor eyesight.
School
Like most Boomers I went to a lot of different schools as school systems scrambled for places to put us all. A lot of those schools are now gone or boarded up.

t have survived. I was terminally shy. There's a lot of stuff I should have done in high school that I was afraid to do.
I was what would now be called a "band geek". On a seven-period schedule I took both band and music theory, and went on to major in music at FSU.
College
I went to FSU in 1964 as a music major, intending to be a band director like Bill Bennett.
Much later in my life (1982) with a trail of different jobs behind me I went off to Emory University's Candler School of Theology for an M. Div. in preparation to become a United Methodist pastor.
Workplace
As of July 1, 2005 I'm the pastor at John Wesley United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, Florida.
