Life (LAST UPDATE 2021) Occupation Section head, design engineering, SED Systems, Saskatoon SK. Now 30 years with company. Present activity IN 2005: Installation and test of the new ESA 35 meter deep space antenna and associated RF gear in Cebreros Spain Update 2016: Retired July 2105 after 33 years with SED. Waiting for house to sell then we move back to Vancouver Island so Sandra can finally go home. Looking forward to winters that at their worst are only mild compared to SK. Also have a large stash of raw loudspeaker drivers that are calling out to me to do something with them. That will keep me occupied for quite some time Update 2019: Now living just outside Maple Bay on Vancouver Island. Bought the house in late 2016. Busy few years working on the house. Only had time for a few small loudspeaker projects but most of the big stuff for the house is done now. That will free up more time for fun hobbies. Daughter living here with our two grandsons for awhile. Sandra is feasting attention on the lads and they love it. Sandra is enjoying her gardening once again.. Island life is okay with us. Slower is sometimes better Haven't seen any need to leave here for the mainland since arriving in 2016. Will return to Sask( Prince Albert National Park) as my one son lives there and is getting married summer 2020.. UPDATE 2020: My life is about to change again. After 45 years of marriage my loving wife has opted for divorce. Talk about a drastic change in lifestyle. The divorce is no contest so it is civilized. We have sold our house and are going our separate ways. Starting next month I will reside in Nanaimo in a rental. Renting again after almost 40 years is also very strange but there is not enough money in my share or hers for either of us to buy a house. I will recover eventually from all this but fortunately right now I'm so busy getting ready to move at least I do not have time to dwell on it. UPDATE 2021: divorce finalized. Too...Expand for more
