Ron's Story
I didn't graduate from Howland High, however, I did spend most of my childhood/teen years here. I left the area in 1981 after finishing the tenth grade. So, I do have most of my best childhood and teen year memories from this time. I moved to Sarasota, Fl. for my 11th grade year then to Brandon, Fl. (right outside of Tampa) for my graduation. Turned into a serious beach bum. I left the Florida area for the Navy for the next seven years. I spent my time at Virginia Beach, VA posted at Oceana Naval Air Station and aboard CVN-71 Theodore...Expand for more
Roosevelt (Air Craft Carrier) as an Aviation Electronics Technician. Still a major beach bum. I married my wife Mia while in the Navy and we have been married for over twenty years now. I have one daughter named Natasha now in middle school. I'm still a beach bum at heart however, I'm now land locked in Monroe, NC (only 2 hours from the beach) which is just southeast of Charlotte. Just thought I would say hey to all my old friends or, would that be hey yall since I'm now a southerner. Especially the old gang(Theresa, Bird, Tom, Ray).
