Ron's Story
Life
Joined the Navy (Submarines) and ended up in Washington. Got out in time to catch the dot-com wave. Became semi-retired when it crashed, got bored and went back to college. I currently live and work in Seattle. I design and program building control systems for data centers. My work involves computers/servers, embedded devices, and the sensors (temperature, humidity, air flow, etc) used to monitor systems so that the computers can make decisions and control vario...Expand for more
us parameters of equipment in the building. It is interesting work and is starting to become very a very popular vocation due to the "Go Green" movement since it can be used to save energy and make buildings run more efficiently.
I travel around the U.S. quite a bit. Not for work, just for fun. Usually on a motorcycle.
I also train Labrador Retrievers for fun. Agility training as well as puppy training for dogs that will continue to be trained as service animals.
