Ron's Story

After graduation and working for my great uncle and grandfather for Summer and Autumn it was time to consider filling my military obligation. Enlisting in the United States Navy and going to aviation electricians mate school in Florida, my next duty station was NAS Atsugi, Japan where VQ-1 flew Patrol Radar missions durring Vietnam and the Cold War. It was interesting work knowing that our work help save American fliers lives by ECM and other means. an remodeling a house that my family gave me. Three years passes quickly and marriage finds me with a wonderful lady. We move to her home state of Washington and college is next. Studying for three years I go into helping at a private school in special education testing students with learning disabilities and tutoring. After this rewarding time my marriage ends with both of us parting as friends. My next adventure takes me to Tulum, Mexico. Where I help build a resort. Rancho Tranquilo. Fun along the Carri bean Sea for the next eight years until moving to Texas to be close to family and the VA if medical needs arisen. I
