Ron's Story
I spent my freshman year of college getting my head together at St. Lawrence Seminary. I graduated from UW-Milwaukee with a degree to teach Math and Chemistry in high school, but took a job at Kohler Co. instead as a computer programmer, leading to a career as an Info Technology professional. Spent 10 years at Kohler, 18 years at A. O. Smith Automotive in Milwaukee and retired after 10 years at Miller Brewing (later MillerCoors and now Molson...Expand for more
Coors).
Retirement has been wonderful and I had a chance to work on the 45th class reunion of our 1967 graduating class with a wonderful group of classmates. Anyone who questions me about retirement gets the answer that "it is better than advertised". At least that is my story. Love working with family genealogy, church work, and being the grandchildren sitter on an occasional basis. Joyce and I still love each other after all these years.
