Ron's Story

I am a 61 year old black man. I love to read because it makes us more interesting if we sharpen our wits on great minds. Without a doubt the man I loved to talk to the most was my step father who had a grammer school education. Warning: all that sharpening unless it is tempered with strong doses of humility can lead to a lot of blood letting. Alchemy interest me as a tool for understanding things that we know but cannot explain. As a libra it would be easy to explain the extremes and polarity of my life by the shifting of the scales trying to achieve...Expand for more
balance. A like the idea of taking lemons and making lemonade. I like the challange of getting the most out of my limited intellect and making things happen. I was a nerd before being a nerd was cool. I was a academic underachiever. A successful day is a day where I learned something new had a good from the gut laugh and cared enough to cry over the beauty and uglinest that I observed. I hate that I am still all these years later a bad loser. I love that after all these years I have never forgotten what it felt like before I made myself strong.
