Ron Hudson:  

ocial studies and music class with Mr. Terfler. I played football, basketball, ran track and played drums and bass guitar. Highlight was when we played Cloud Nine and won the talent show. I was elected school President and Homecoming King. I just remember thanking everyone at school the next school day, even the people I knew didn’t vote for me! Next I attended Rock Island High School. My favorite class was Audio/Video class. My dad loved tinkering with electronics. He fixed everyone’s TV on the block and let me talk on his short wave radio. I wanted to be a TV repairman up until the 10th grade. At Rocky, I was the A/V dude that hooked up the projector’s for class. Then I became the morning announcer remember “today we’re havin’ winners and beans?” (inside joke) I played football, got kicked off the basketball team and ran track. I played bass in a band called Simplicity, later we changed our name to The West Side Funk Factory. College I remember thinking "this isn't much different than High School" except I have to pay for everything now! I had a very cool counsellor, Mr. Hardy. A really crazy group of friends and finally found what I wanted to do as a career, television. Workplace I love working for myself! I'm not a real good employee but an exceptional employer. I bid on projects, do executive presentations, draft and sign contracts, hire staff, produce, edit and distribute really cool multimedia projects and pay my employees well. Then I do it all over again! Thank God!
