Ron's Story
OK. Time for an update. I'm still happily married, I have five kids (ages 23-39), 4 grandkids. I live on a farm in Midland, near Warrenton, VA. I graduated from U of MD in 1977, joined the Air Force in 1980, as a pilot. I flew C-141 freighters until 1987, then left to seek an airline job. I was hired at PanAm in 1987 flying the Boeing B-727, and after four years PanAm went bankrupt in 1991, I learned of the bankruptcy watching it on TV on the national news with my wife (a stay at home mom and 2 kids).
I finally got hired by FedEx Express where I was fortunate to fly the

rful company to work for.
My flying career has taken me to 43 countries and 6 continents.
I've lost most of my hair and I'm still the same skinny little runt I was in high school (5'8", 132lbs). My hobbies are playing fingerstyle instrumental guitar, physical fitness, volunteering, mentoring in a robotics club (Fresta Valley Robotics), building sets for plays my wife directs at school and Fauquier community theater, spending time with my family. All in all it's been a good ride so far. I figure I'll end up some where between Jeff Bezos and "Joe", the rag picker. But then again who isn't,... other than Jeff and Joe.
