Ron's Story
Life
Who knew life would be like this?
A ride I would not have missed for the world.
I grew up on Lyndale Ave near Belair Rd/Erdman Ave. Left right after HS to join the AF. Traveled around the world (Philippines, Taiwan, Australia, Texas). Got married along the way (still have the same wife too!)
Got out and came (went?) back to Baltimore to finish my undergrad work (U of B '75).
Then took a job in Louisiana, moved to Texas in '79. Never left.
One wife, two sons (one following my trail in the AF) two gorgeous gra...Expand for more
nddaughters.
Several careers, health care, banking, computers and back to banking.
As I said, it's been a long strange trip.
Now, as I approach retirement I find myself contemplating. I never went BACK to Baltimore - not to the Baltimore I grew up in. Never went back to the old neighborhood and I allowed myself to lose touch with childhood friends.
I wish I hadn't done that and hope I can find some of them here.
