Ron Or Ronald Sauro:  

Ron is from Sewickley, Pennsylvania and moved to Akron in 1951. He is a 3 time widower and is currently and happily married to Bonita Jay from Dayton, Ohio. He has one daughter from his 1st marriage, Theresa Meyers, who is a well known author. She writes for Harlequin and other publishing houses. His schools include Buchtel High School and Stanford and he majored in physics and electronic engineering. Between high school he served his country in the Air Force from 1964 until 1968 in such places as Viet Nam, Iceland, Antarctica, Greenland and the end of the Aleutian Islands in Alaska on isolated duty assignments. He later raced cars for Ford until an accident forced him to give up the sport. As a musician, he traveled the world with his own group, "the Entertainers" and worked with The Rivieras, Neil Diamond, Santana, The Doobie Brothers, Lou Rawls, Dionne Warwick and Elvis Presley.
