Ron's Story
I played the Tuba in band and grew up on the Rock River at North Shore Drive. I married Carolyn Aims (1959) and we had three children. Carolyn died from cancer in 1976 at age 35. I graduated from Long Beach State College (B.A. 1961); University of Oklahoma MRCP 1969) and Penn State University (MPA 1978). I married Jane Metz in 1980 and we have been married 35 years. I retired in 2010 while working at Glendale, AZ. I am currently active as President of the Glendale Arizona Historical Society, President of our Home Owners Association and on the Glendale Water Services Advisory Commission.
