Ronald's Story
Life
I graduate from Sam Rayburn High in 1965, but I did so much time in the East Mount
Houston School District (A.K.A. North Forest) that I never transferred my soul.
After graduation President Johnson decided I was expendable and sent me to be used for
target practice in Vietnam working for the Marine Corp. The Communist Insurgent
Vietnamese Soldiers were very good marksmen, I was wound on two occasions.
I have two adult children,...Expand for more
son (1968) and daughter (1967).
I worked on the water front (ILA 1351) for 23 years, retired in1989. I have been very good
at not doing anything. I started to write a book about how to not work, but that would be
working.
Since 1994 I have lived in Northwest Harris County.
Military
Maybe I would have had better feelings if the "US Gubment" would fulfill their end of the deal. Like getting my job back and paying for my medical care.
