Ronald's Story
After graduation, I attended East Central State at Ada eventually obtaining a Bachelors in Secondary Music Education, acquired a wife, Fran Kerr from Maysville and a term of enlistment from the Oklahoma Army National Guard. I became the High School Band Director at Coalgate HS for two years before I became commissioned as a Special Agent, Criminal Investigator for the Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration assigned to Houston, Texas. My son, Heath, was born in Ada shortly before I took the DEA position. After six years in Houston, I was transfered to Tulsa for an additional six years in that employment. My daughter Kelley was born shortly after the transfer.

red from the practice of law and moved to Florida. While living in Jacksonville, I secured my US Coast Guard Captain's license and started a vessel delivery business. I eventually wound up in Key West where, in addition to delivering boats, I work as a Fishing Captain for the Boy Scouts of America, High Adventure Sea Base out of Summerland Key in the summers and as a substitute teacher for the local school district during the remainder of the year.
My son Heath recently married and lives in Austin Texas where he is a program director for the University of Texas Petroleum Engineering School. My dauther Kelley, married a former classmate who graduated from the Air Force Acadamy. They currently reside in Pensacola, Florida, but are transfering to South Carolina soon. I have two grandchildren, Whitney and Michael.
