Ronald's Story

Life For the past 20 years or so I have made wooden toys for the Christmas toy drives in my area. This year I gave 500 toys to a variety of charities. Now that I have retired I will keep on making my toys and I plan on selling some to help cover the cost of making the toys for kids that would normally have to do without at Christmas. I spend most of my time enjoying my grand-kids and I just found out that I have a new grandson coming this May '08. This will give me 10 granddaughters and 4 grandsons. I feel like I'm blessed to have so many to spoil. Workplace I worked for Boeing for 28 yrs. and I'm now retired. Military I was stationed at Ajo Air Force Base from 1965 to 1968. I worked in the MCC center, mostly nights. I have the fondest memories of my time spent there. Most remember me as Yosemite Sam. Update: I plan to be at the Campus High reunion on...Expand for more
June 27 to try and see some of my childhood friends. I will be traveling across the southern US on my bike to see family and friends. I plan to leave home on June 3 going to Los Angeles first then to drive to Los Vegas and visit family. Then go through New Mexico to Texas where I will be spending about 2 or 3 weeks visiting with a side trip to Wichita, then back to Texas and then on to Augusta, Ga to visit my oldest son and his family. There will be a lot of side trips for sightseeing. Latest update:(6-17-09) I was driving in only bad weather from Tacoma to L.A. and high winds to Las Vegas. The only hot weather I found was in Las Vegas and the weather forecast going east was thunder storms and worse so I decide that I would go back home and fly to my sons in Georgia and then make the trip in about 3 years with my car towing my bike. Sorry to miss everyone.

I took Gavin to the vets and had his shots brought up to date and he checked out great for his age. He is going to be 11 this June. Hard to believe he is this old , He acts so young. I love him so much.
