Reverend Ronald J. Osborne died on October 2, 2006.
He was a devoted Catholic Priest for 23 years. Prior to that
he was a Brother with the Augustinian Recollects. He spent
his whole life devoted to God and God's followers. He had many
friends, loved ones and a wonderful family that was always by his side. He stayed friends with Ciro Franco, who was at his beside as he took his last breaths. He died at St. Rafael's after being in the hospital for ...Expand for more
two months. He had many health issues including Hotchkins Lymphoma, kidney and heart problems, diabetes and respiratory problems. He died peacefully and was ready to go home to God. He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury. His twelve year old Golden Retriever, Glory Be to God, was always at his side. She is living in a foster home. He brought hapiness to many people and would do anything for a friend, stranger or enemy, including giving his last dollar. He is missed by many. He was a very special man.
