Ronald's Story

Life Ronald has moved on to become a Certified Public Accountant. Holds a Masters of Social Work Degree and the equivalent of MBA. During 2008, he completed his Doctorate (PhD). So those who remember him as Stubs, it is now Dr. Stubs (smile, no cough). Father of four children and still has his jump shot. He leaves the football to his two sons; Ronald and Robert. Dancing goes to his talented daughters, Lillian and Tunisha. And, big smiles come from his grandson, Aidan Christopher. Dr Stubbs has just retired as Chief Financial Officer at St. John's Community Services, Inc. in Washington, DC. He provides consulting services and teaches as an Adjunct Faculty of Montgomery College (yes he gets student grief that he used to get LOL) College BBA from Hofstra University MSW from New York University Grad of General Electric Co 's "Financial Management Program" Post graduate work in the MS taxation from American University Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)...Expand for more
Successful completion of AICPA Certification in International Financial Reporting (IFRS) PhD from Warren National University (formerly Kennedy-Western University). Workplace After a career in social work and then 10 years in finance with the General Electric Company, opened a private practice as a Certified Public Accountant. He combined his MSW and CPA background as Executive Vice President/COO of a Community Development Corporation in Washington, DC involved in economic and housing development and health and human services He has moved on in the working arena. After serving in the Washington, DC area for a two year stint as VP of Patient Services for a Nationally known women's health care organization; Ron has now become Dr. Stubblefield having completed his Ph. D in health administration. Dr. Stubblefield was Chief Financial Officer of Melwood, for 5 years, serving the disabled. He has recently become the Chief Financial Officer of St. John's Community Services, in Washington, DC. (just retired)
