Ronald's Story
I was born in Oakland California on a gray rainy day in November 1946. For the better part of my childhood years, I lived in Berkeley. I attended Jefferson Elementary School, Garfield Jr. High School, and Berkeley High School.
During my senior year at BHS, I was a member of The Agrecians Social Club, and a horrible student. Several months after graduation, I enlisted in the U. S. Air Force for a four year tour of duty.
After completing Air Police Technical School in November 1964, I was stationed at March AFB in Southern California where I remained for my entire tour of duty. I did have a temporary tour of duty on Guam during latter 1967 and early 1968. My military service was a good experience that instilled some gravely needed discipline and responsibility in me.

scharged from the service, became engaged, and planted my roots in Riverside California. I took a manufacturing job in an aluminum factory.
In 1971, I joined a paint manufacturing company in Colton California. I remained in this business for over 40 years.. The positions I held were Purchasing Manager, Materials Manager, and Director of Operations.
I married in 1975,, and have been married to the same wonderful woman for 47 years. We have two adult children.
I earned an Associate in Arts degree in management in 1978. This time around I was a very good student.
I consider myself to be a very fortunate person in all aspects of my life. I know, and have known, some wonderful people, some of whom may be reading this right now. If so, I want to thank you and wish you well.
I'm currently retired.
