Ronald's Story
Life
After graduation I joined the Air Force. I obtained my Commercial Pilots license and Flight Instructors rating. I married Bernice and we have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. I retired at age 50 as Senior Vice President of the Revlon Corporation in NYC. Since retirement I have returned to aviation. I am a major in the United States Civil Air Patrol. I am a group commander and the New Jersey Wing Recruiting & Retention Officer. Once again I am flying. I am an instructor for Civil Air Patrol. Georgia and New Jersey. We have lived in New Jersey for 34 years. Our travels have taken us to Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, Germany, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Franceand Switzerland. Fortunately we remain in good health. My brothers remain in Kentucky and each year I make a trip "home" to see them. I have thououghly enjoyed attending two Burgin High School reunions over the past three years. Joe Hayslett is the only member of the class of 1960 that has passed. I miss him. He was a great friend. May God bless all of you. I am a Certified Flight Instructor at a local New Jersey flight school and chief pilot flying a Cessna 421B twin-engine airplane.
