Military
I served 10 years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserve. I started my military service August 4, 1976. I went to basic training at Fort Jackson, SC., then went to Fort Benning, GA., for AIT training in Infantry school, and Airborne school. After training I was stationed at Fort Stewart, GA with the 1/75th Ranger Battalion. Attended Ranger School at Ft. Benning, GA. Class 6-78. I was a member of A Co 1st Plt. 3rd Squad. I went to Italy around July 1978 where I was station on and Italian missile base as a Security Specialist team leader. I went to NCOS training in Germany in the winter of 1978. I lived in the community of Italy in the city of Choggia south of Venice and not on base because of limited housing space on the base and being an NCO. After my brother was killed I came back home to learn the family business with my father and served with an Army Reserve 531st Military Intelligence, 20th Special Forces Group, as a Senior Counter Intelligence Agent until 1986.
