I'm sure most of you remember me as an angry young man and most likely an asshole. I did have good qualities too , and had lots of good friends in my life that I still keep a warm spot in my heart. My best bud Tommy Tanksley kept his Christmas tree up untill mid June waiting for me to come home from Veit-Nam.I'll never forget. I had friends like Lonnie Harris,Don Ball,Randle Humphrys, Carol Gunn,Becky Robinson,Zelda Gaston{my first steady} and scores of other band and cheerleader members . I couldn't wait to get out of Mesquite so I joined the Army was off to see the world. I didn't plan on Veit-Nam. I survived my childhood and I survived Nam maybe all the worse for the wear and tear. When I got back from Nam ,I married a girl from Brian Adams High, that lasted 18 months. A year later I remarried and moved to Austin and went to U.T for three and a half years got 125 credit hours and quit before I got my degree.
