Life Married in 1977. Two daughters. Currently working as a contract engineer. I have been doing electronic design since finishing college in 1975. Work has taken me from Massachusetts to California where I worked for Hughes Aircraft for 3 years. Hughes sent me to Indonesia for 14 months where I met my wife, Lilik. We returned to California where we stayed until 1978. Moved to Florida where I worked for Honeywell, Paradyne and E-Systems. Got caught in the Engineering slow down of the late 80's and spent 14 months looking for work. Found a contract position with IBM in Austin, TX where I stayed for 2 1/2 years - commuting home to Florida when possible and having the family visit me in Austin at other times. When the contract finished in TX, got a call from a friend from E-Systems days abuot a position in Tulsa at Seiscor Technologies. Started working there in '94 and have been living in Tulsa since. Seiscor was purchased and subsequently closed the Tulsa operations. This was during the telecom boom in electronics. Carrier need a number of engineers and opened a facility in Tulsa where I went to work. This lasted until early 2007 when Carrier decided it was cheaper to design their product in China and closed most of the development facilities in the US. Since ...Expand for more
