Ronald (Ron)'s Story
Life
I moved to the Tampa, FL area in 1984. For 12 years, I worked as a manager for a now defunct company called BYRONS (later UPTONS, which also went under).
Retrained in systems analysis, worked 5 1/2 years as a contractor for IBM supporting major contract customers. as a employee of Computer Generated Solutions. Became a full fledged employee with IBM in March of 2003 and was placed on that magical wheel of 3000 employees they laid off in 2004.

ve been with them since and currently work as an IS Business Analyst for the Project Management Department.
Have been married since May 1985
Have 1 daughter. She got married on 3/8/2020, just a week prior to everything shutting down due to Covid-19. Talk about luck, her and her husband basically shutdown the theme parks while on her honeymoon.
Now that she is full fledged in the working adult world, she understands her parents a little bit more every passing day. I just chuckle when she discovers how much dad really knew and how much was BS.
